ConnectED 3 - Google Drive
Google Drive
The best thing about google drive is the ability to plan, share documents and create conversations with other teachers and users. Google drive allows the user to store files in the cloud and access from any internet connected computer or mobile device around the world.
Two of its best features is the ability to share documents with non google drive users and the ability to collaborate on documents in real time. Files can be shared publicly (to anyone with a link) or privately to specific email addresses and or users. Worth noting that files can only be shared privately with google account holders.
Collaborated documents are updated live enabling other users to see what changes are being made as they work.
Accessing Classroom in google drive provides a tool for teachers and students to work together. It is a blended learning platform. Classroom lets you communicate with your class and easily share assignments, materials, and messages. Teachers can organise assignments and watch class activity as it happens. Google drive is good for the environment it saves paper!

Te Reo Māori Professional Learning - Working with Jeanne
Working with Jeanne Gilbert
I am enjoying working with Jeanne. Her knowledge of Te reo Māori is inspiring. Insight into language acquisition and seeing how relatively simple it can be to teach a language is empowering. We can often complicate things by our own inhibitions. Pronunciation is probably a challenge for most. Remember the AEIOU's and your half way there.
It also reflects the importance of the language being passed on. Te Reo Māori belongs to us all.

Teacher Inquiries 19/10/16
Collaborative Teaching in ILE
Presenters: Jude and Edie
Jude and Edie have come into collaborative teaching not really knowing where to start. They had to ask a lot of questions to get some sort of directive as to how to approach it all. Lots of trial and error.
It's been an exciting journey.
